Peter Drucker said "Culture eats strategy for breakfast"

Updated: 2 days ago

The prevailing mindset of an organisation is an indicator for performance. The performance curve is a useful tool to explore the existing cultural ethos and mindset. Identifying and acknowledging this is the starting place for change.

If your organisation is in an "impulsive" or "dependent" state, you might experience teams and individuals being reactive and/or overly dependent on rules and policies.

By looking at The Performance Curve, organisations, teams, and individuals can have an immediate idea of where they are operating, either from the perspective of “this is the culture of my organisation” or “this is the culture I create”.

If you can't measure your organisational culture you can't manage it.
